Mixed Media Sunflower

Join us for a uniquely creative 2-day mixed-media class on Monday, June 29, and Tuesday, June 30, from 6-8 pm each evening. During this class, participants will create a stunning sunflower, a design by artist Rose Gottler, owner of The Painted Toad Art Studio in Marine City, Michigan.

On the first evening, participants will shape a sunflower on a 12" x 12" canvas using modeling paste, followed by a matte gel acrylic medium to add movement and texture to the design.

On the second evening, participants will paint their design and embellish it with metallics, glitter, and crushed glass. Once finished, you can choose to add a resin pour over your artwork. The resin will seal the picture and provide a glossy finish once dry.

No prior experience is necessary for this class, as our instructor, Joni, will offer expert step-by-step guidance.
