Join our class on Tuesday, June 23, from 5 pm to 8 pm to learn the art of tole painting and design a charming snowman on an upcycled teapot. The term "tole" originates from the French phrase "tole peinte de lac," meaning painted tin. Traditionally, tole painting is a folk art involving decorative painting on tin, wooden items, and furniture.
The class will be led by Leona "Lee" Talbert, a talented tole painting artist with 45 years of experience in arts and crafts. She is certified as a teacher for the Decorative Arts of Ohio. No previous experience is required, as Lee will guide you with step-by-step instructions. Participants have the freedom to paint their snowman teapots as they wish.
The cost is $45 per person (non-refundable). Please register by June 22. Guests are welcome to bring snacks and beverages; those 21 and older may bring wine or other creativity…
